Notes |
- One of the original 30 settlers to migrate from Pelham, MA to Cambridge between 1761-1763. Captain of the Cambridge Company of the 16th and participated in all the battles of the Saratoga Campaign. A home near Coila, believed to be the original home of Captain Gilmore stands today, and a street called Gilmore Avenue remains as a memorial George Gilmore and his descendants.
